The Paris presents a special screening of the Academy Award®-nominated documentary short film The Only Girl in the Orchestra, about trailblazing double bassist Orin O’Brien, the first female musician in the New York Philharmonic - hired in 1966 by Leonard Bernstein. The short will screen with F.W. Murnau’s 1927 classic Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, which stars Orin's father George O’Brien.
 

The screening will be following by a conversation with The Only Girl in the Orchestra subject Orin O'Brien and director Molly O'Brien, moderated by Rolling Stone's David Fear.
