35mm print! Ben Hecht adapted Noël Coward’s sparkling stage play about a platonic ménage à trois conducted by an artist (Cooper), a writer (March) and a free spirit (Hopkins) as they share an apartment in Paris.

THE MIRACLE OF MORGAN'S CREEK (1944, Preston Sturgess)
Trudy Cockenlocker, the daughter of the town's Chief of Police, is truly loved by Norval Jones. However, Trudi is strongly attracted to men in unifom, but Norval is turned down by the Army because he's too nervous! So she marries a soldiers she meets at a dance. They both give fictitious names and after the ceremony the groom disappears. Nobody sees the missing G.I, but his presence is felt throughout the film as Trudy traces most of her present problems to that terrible mistake - namely her pregnant condition! Norval tries to get Trudy off the hook but only manages to get himself in deeper. Only a miracle could save the scene - and it comes just in time.
Design for Living will screen first, followed by a 15 minute intermission, then The Miracle of Morgan's Creek.
