Duly warned about the "evils of men," Luisa claims that she is married, a ploy that backfires when Konrad insists upon meeting her husband. Picking a random name from the telephone book, Luisa selects the unsuspecting Max Sporum (Herbert Marshall), a struggling lawyer unaware of her ruse, and that is when the real fun begins.
